The longest river in India also creates a unique opportunity for adrenaline rush for a very short distance. Rishikesh has become a landmark for white water rafting because of the varieties of rapids it creates for rafting purpose. At one place it can be calm and on the other it can turn you, your crew and the raft upside down. If you like to live on the edge then the rafting stint at Rishikesh should be a must in your to-do list. 

Along with rafting enjoy the beach camping on a private island where you can engage in additional activities like beach volleyball, cliff jumping and body surfing. At night, have a peaceful bon-fire along riverside.

Day 1 

Arrive rishikesh in the afternoon and get transferred to ganga beach camp/resort near Shivpuri as per booking requirements. On arrival, you will be received with a welcome drink. After that you will be given safety briefing and ushered to the tents/cottages allotted. In the evening you can go for jungle trek or you can relax in the camp or play beach volley ball on the sand as you please. Snacks and tea will served in the evening. Dinner will be served in the dining tent and after bonfire you can get back to your tent/cottages. 

Day 2

After morning tea and breakfast we start river rafting from Shivapuri and raft down to Rishikesh for 16 km. While rafting you will hit some of the enjoyable rapids like return to cender, roller coaster, golf course, club house, double trouble, hilton and terminator. One can try body surfing and cliff jumping during rafting break. Later we float past temples, ashrams and ghats, enjoying the riverbank life along the Ganga. After we arrive Rishikesh the journey also comes to an end. 


How to Reach

By Flight
The nearest airport is Dehradun airport and Rishikesh is around 30 km away from it. There are frequent flights between Dehradun and New Delhi International airport. There are taxis available from the airport to Rishikesh.

By Train
The nearest railway station is Haridwar railway station and Rishikesh is around 20 km away from it. From there, one can hire a taxi or take a bus to Rishikesh.

By Road
Rishikesh is well connected with Gaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi via NH 58.

Do's and Dont's


• Things to Carry:

  • Backpack 40 - 60 Liters (Only carry the things required for trek)
  • Hiking/Trekking pants/trousers and shirts (Avoid using jeans and wear comfortable clothings)
  • Good ankle-length hiking shoes. Make sure your shoes are not new as they cause shoe bites easily 
  • Flash light with extra batteries (These will be required at night when you need guidance to walk along the camp site)
  • Sunglasses and Caps.
  • Hiking poles (optional) (This depends on your fitness level)
  • Sunscreen  (Get a high SPF sunscreen as sun burns are common phenomenon at high altitudes)
  • Camera (optional)
  • Water bottle
  • Warm jacket/pullover (Make sure they are water resistant)
  • Warm gloves
  • Warm socks (at least 3 pairs)
  • Raincoat
  • Prescribed medication (if any)
  • Personal Medication If Any 
  • Back Pack Cover 

• Do not consume alcohol during the camp.
• Do not litter the state during your stay there.
